ICFSB 2025 Has Been Successfully Concluded!
From May 16 to 18, 2025, the 3rd International Conference on Food Science and Bio-medicine (ICFSB 2025) was grandly held in Guangzhou, China, and achieved complete success. The conference was co-organized by Guangzhou University and South China University of Technology. It was organized by the Editorial Department of Modern Food Science and Technology, the Health Nutrition Baked Food R&D Engineering and Technology Center, the School of Food Science and Engineering of South China University of Technology, the School of Life Sciences of Guangzhou University, AEIC Academic Exchange Center, the journal publisher of iMed, and Guangzhou College of Technology and Business. It was co-organized by Guangdong Petrochemical University, Shanghai Baiqu Biomedical Technology Co., Ltd., and the journal Cross Medicine. It was supported by the Guangzhou Biotechnology Society, the North American Chinese Nutrition Society, the Distance Education Branch of the Chinese Ethnomedicine Association, the journal Light Industry Journal, the Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Functional Food Bioactivity, Guangzhou Weigu Technology Co., Ltd., and Guangzhou Aisha Biotechnology Co., Ltd. The conference attracted more than 100 experts and scholars from China and abroad to gather in Guangzhou, where they engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges on cutting-edge topics and the latest research achievements in food science and biomedicine.

The opening ceremony was hosted by Professor Wu Hao of Shandong University. Professor Liang Qionglin of Tsinghua University, Chair of the Conference, delivered an enthusiastic speech. In his remarks, Professor Liang extended a warm welcome to all attending scholars and emphasized the important value and positive significance of the conference in promoting academic exchange and advancing industry-academia-research collaboration.
In the morning sessions, the conference invited Professor Liang Qionglin of Tsinghua University, Professor Chen Guokun of Huazhong Agricultural University, Professor Ou Shiyi of Guangzhou College of Technology and Business, Professor Fu Xiong of South China University of Technology, and Researcher Zhao Xinrui of Jiangnan University to deliver keynote presentations.

In the afternoon sessions, the conference invited Associate Professor Zhang Zhaofeng of Peking University, Professor Wu Hao of Shandong University, Professor Li Caiming of Jiangnan University, Associate Professor Xiao Xue of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University, Associate Professor Deng Kui of Sun Yat-sen University, Chief Physician He Zhen from the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, and Associate Professor Wei Tao of South China Agricultural University to give thematic presentations.

These high-level talks were rich in content and offered fresh perspectives, sparking lively discussion among the audience. Many teachers and scholars actively participated in the interactions, creating a vibrant atmosphere of exchange.
In addition, young scholars and researchers from numerous universities and research institutions, including Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman in Malaysia, Southwest University, and Yanbian University, shared their innovative research achievements in food science and biomedicine through oral presentations and poster displays. Their unique perspectives and novel methods demonstrated the vigor and innovative energy of young talent in the field, injecting new intellectual momentum into the conference.
An enterprise exhibition area was also specially set up during the conference. The journal Modern Food Science and Technology, hosted by South China University of Technology, Guangzhou Weigu Technology Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Baiqu Biomedical Technology Co., Ltd. provided professional presentations and on-site communication.
After the conference concluded, many experts and scholars expressed sincere gratitude for the careful organization and warm invitation. They also stated that the conference was substantial and highly rewarding: it not only broadened their academic horizons but also enabled them to meet many peer experts, laying a solid foundation for future academic cooperation and exchange. The organizers stated that they will continue striving to build more high-quality platforms for exchange and collaboration for scholars in related fields, work together to promote scientific and technological progress and innovative development in food science and biomedicine, and look forward to creating another brilliant success at the next conference.
